Malvina started her new journey on May 31, 2017. She was born on January 27, 1955 in Spokane, WA to Millard and Kay Holmes. She grew up on Half Moon Prairie, north of Spokane and in Creston, graduated from Creston High School in 1973 and she attended Kinmen Business University in Spokane, WA. Malvina is survived by her parents Millard and Kay Holmes, her brother and sister Orlan Holmes and Marlena (and Bill) Guhlke along with several nieces and nephews and friends. Malvina started her new journey on May 31, 2017. She was born on January 27, 1955 in Spokane, WA to Millard and Kay Holmes. She grew up on Half Moon Prairie, north of Spokane and in Creston, graduated from Creston High School in 1973 and she attended Kinmen Business University in Spokane, WA. Malvina is survived by her parents Millard and Kay Holmes, her brother and sister Orlan Holmes and Marlena (and Bill) Guhlke along with several nieces and nephews and friends. She worked for Willard Zellmer, an attorney in Davenport; Western Nuclear near Wellpinit; Cheney Weeder in Spokane; and ended her career in Davenport working simultaneously at Parks Prints and managing Pat Rosman's machine shop. Malvina enjoyed traveling and traveled to all lower 48 States, Europe, British Isles and Canada, and often went to the ocean. She had a strong desire to help others. She collected Snow White memorabilia, music boxes, stamps and T-shirts from various Indian reservations. She loved her cat, "Cat". A Celebration of Life Gathering was held on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the home of Marlena and Bill Guhlke, 22382 Olson Rd N., Davenport, WA 99122.
